Located on the foothills of Corbières in Roussillon, Domaine de L’Edre extends over 10 ha. The Mediterranean influences, the North Wind 'La Tramontane', the clay-limestone soil, altitude (200-350m), various exposure, creating an alternating of freshness, and sunlight, make it possible to develop complex, fruity wines, powerful and balanced.

 

Domaine de L’ Edre was established in 2002, born of the passion of wine and two friends Jacques Castany Pascal Dieunidou, with the goal of making wines they like. Even today, they still have full-time jobs outside in a bank and a Bus company and spend all their free time to the development of their wines.

 

Working in green, low yields, parcel selections, hand harvested in boxes and refrigerated truck, severe sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar, long maceration, allowed quickly to obtain numerous awards and to be recognized by all lovers of great Southern wines.
